4 Steps To An Abundant Life

Emily Spurling EMILY SPURLING

Do you think you have enough? I'll let you in on a little secret about feeling abundant in your life - if you think you have enough then you do. Simple right?  Step #1 will unlock this superpower...

1.GRATITUDE

This is not a new concept, but so many of us are unhappy and constantly seeking more. Gratitude needs to become part of your daily routine, just as important as brushing your teeth. In my little family, after reading stories together snuggled up in bed, we each take turns in saying what we are grateful for that day. Sometimes it is as simple as having a warm bed and a full tummy.

2: LETTING GO

Is there something in your past that you wish you'd done differently? It might be that you've had some trauma that still haunts you OR there's something in your life that you can't control but are trying to anyway. It's not serving you and it's time to LET GO! Try this, write yourself a letter from your future self who has successfully moved on from whatever it is, explain why it's holding you back, and how wonderful your life is without replaying this sad story in your head. Once you do there will be a magnificent space created for something new and wonderful in your life, which brings me to my next point...

3: ATTRACTING

What does your ultimate life look like? What scares you and excites you at the same time? Go towards it! Allow yourself to dream BIG; there really are no limitations except those you create for yourself. Scared of failure or rejection? Do it anyway! Do you really want to spend your life on the sidelines? Take that leap of faith and don't look back, that's the key - whatever happens, keep moving forward!

4. REFUEL

Habits of successful people have been well researched and there's one in particular that can't be denied: take a break and refuel. It is not until we step out of our everyday routines that we gain some much-needed perspective and energy. If you're not on the right path, more often than not a shift happens to propel us in the right direction.
