Mint patties covered in dark chocolate? Delicious… but not very nourishing for your body. Except this recipe. Incomparably healthy for you! Consisting of mostly cashews and coconut, this is a treat that can only help you receive glowing skin and strong nails! Time to get in the kitchen!


(Recipe makes 12) 

Mint Patties 

  • 1/3 cup dried coconut chunks/shreds
  • 1/3 cup cashews
  • 1-2 tbsp melted coconut oil
  • 2-3 tbsp honey/maple syrup/agave
  • 1 tsp peppermint oil
  • Pinch of salt

Chocolate Layer

  • 1-2 tbsp melted coconut oil
  • 1/3 cup cacao powder or Food Matters Superfood Chocolate
  • 4-5 tbsp honey/maple syrup/agave
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon and cayenne 


  1. Blend all ingredients for the mint pattie together until smooth. 
  2. Pat into flattened balls (patties) with your hands and place them in the freezer to set for around 30 minutes.
  3. Process all ingredients from the chocolate layer together until smooth.
  4. Dip each pattie in the chocolate sauce and watch them harden almost immediately!
