This cashew cheese recipe is simple and easy to prepare and the perfect cheese alternatives to those wanting to avoid dairy.


1 cup cashews, soaked in water for 3-4 hours
1⁄2 tsp sea salt
1⁄3 cup water
1 tbsp lemon juice
2 tbsp nutritional yeast


1/2 tsp garlic, crushed
1/2 tsp onion powder
Extra lemon juice


Rinse and drain cashews
Place all ingredients into a food processor or blender and pulse until well combined
You may need to turn off your food processor and scrape down the
sides whilst processing
Store in an air-tight jar or container for up to 1 week
