Dr. Terry Wahls

Terry is a clinical professor of medicine at the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine in Iowa City, Iowa, U.S.A. In addition to being a doctor, she is also a patient with a chronic, progressive disease. Terry was diagnosed with relapsing remitting multiple sclerosis in 2000. By 2003 she had transitioned to secondary progressive multiple sclerosis, undergoing chemotherapy in an attempt to slow the disease. Dr. Wahls restored her health using a diet and lifestyle program she designed specifically for her brain and now pedals her bike to work each day.
