Delicious and Healthy Chocolate Mousse Recipe
I first tried this version of Raw Chocolate Mousse when in France just recently and as you can tell by the look on my face I loved it! Enjoy, Laurentine - Producer 'Food Matters'
Chocolate Mousse (Serves 2)
Ingredients:
- 1/4 cup of pitted dates soaked for at least 4 hours
- 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
- 3/4 cup mashed avocados ( 1 1/2 avocados)
- 1/4 cups plus 2 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder or raw cacoa powder
- 1/4 cup water
Method:
Place the dates, maple syrup and optional vanilla in a food processor and process , add the avocado and cocoa powder, process and add the water. For an optional flavor add 5 leaves of fresh mint to the food processor and create a Mint-Chocolate Mousse
