This chocolate avocado mousse not only looks like a conventional chocolate mousse but it tastes like it too! It’s a family favorite due to its simplicity and delicious rich flavors. The creamy smooth texture of avocado creates the perfect mousse-like consistency. It's healthy, nutritious and dairy free, yet tastes sinfully decadent.
- 3 large ripe avocados
- 1/2 cup cacao powder
- 1/2 cup pure maple syrup
- 1/2 cup full-fat coconut cream
- Place all ingredients into a high-speed blender or food processor and blend until super smooth and creamy.
- Scrape the mousse into a large bowl or individual serving dishes and refrigerate until chilled.
Serve with fresh seasonal berries, shredded coconut and cacao nibs.
