3 Morning Smoothie Recipes to Boost Your Energy!

Kick-off your day with a smoothie combination that will boost your energy, give you clarity and help you start your day in a nourished state.

Pineapple Anti-Inflammatory

Ingredients

  • 1 cup diced pineapple
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder or freshly grated
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds
  • 1 tbsp shredded coconut
  • 1/2 lime, peeled
  • 1 ½  cup water or coconut water
  • A dash of black pepper (it sounds weird but necessary to help with the absorption of curcumin in turmeric)
  • Optional: 1-2 tsp maca powder

Method

  1. Blend all ingredients together and enjoy!

Choc-Mint Green Smoothie

Ingredients

  • 1 peeled and frozen banana
  • 1 bunch of English spinach leaves or frozen spinach
  • 2 tbsp nut butter
  • 1/2 avocado, peeled and stone removed
  • A handful of mint leaves
  • 1 ½ cup coconut milk
  • 3 tbsp raw cacao nibs

Method

  1. Blend all ingredients together and enjoy!

Magnesium Boosting Smoothie

Ingredients

  • 1 small, frozen banana
  • 1 tbsp cacao
  • 1 tbsp pumpkin seeds
  • 1 tbsp tahini
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 cup almond milk
  • ½ cup baby spinach
  • Optional: protein powder

Method

  1. Blend all ingredients together and enjoy!
