6 Best Gluten-Free, Dairy-Free, Refined Sugar-Free Recipes

Rachel Morrow RACHEL MORROW

When you’re cooking with dietary requirements in mind, it can be challenging to find a meal that ticks all the boxes and is still drool-worthy for the masses. Unless you’re in the Food Matters kitchen, of course, because we’ve dedicated our cooking efforts to bringing you the best allergy-friendly recipes you can find.

We actually made our entire Clean Eating Program gluten-free, dairy-free, and refined sugar-free (which is where today’s recipes are from), so everyone can enjoy good, healthy food. There’s more than 80 recipes in the program, but these are a few that I love.

1. Creamy Cinnamon & Apple Oatmeal

Oatmeal has always been a breakfast staple in our house. This recipe is rich and creamy, topped with caramelized cinnamon apples, making a quick breakfast (or afternoon snack - we don’t judge).

2. Blueberry Chia Bowl with Caramelized Sesame Bananas

Need a new 'go-to' breakfast? One that's full of fiber, healthy fats, gluten-free, and utterly delicious? Get around this Food Matters chia bowl with blueberry and caramelized bananas - you’ll want to have these bananas on everything.

3. Tom Kha Soup with Zucchini Noodles

If you find yourself missing soul-warming takeaways, or are looking for a new dish to spice up weeknights, this Tom Kha Soup is a stand-out. With the addition of zucchini noodles and a delicious broth, it's a clear winner.

4. Miso Eggplant with Buckwheat Tabbouleh

The Food Matters soul-warming, tummy-filling tabbouleh is made from nothing but nourishing ingredients and paired with miso-glazed eggplant it makes the perfect dinner for the family (and is just as tasty for lunch tomorrow)!

5. Zucchini Linguini with Basil Pesto

Are you someone who tries and tries to be healthy, but can't get enough pasta? This recipe goes out to you. This greened-up take on a traditional dish will hit all the right spots, so stock up on those veggies and let's get cooking.

6. Clean Fish & Chips

Here on the Sunshine Coast, nothing says a late summer's evening like fish and chips on the beach. This recipe is my favorite way to make the most of the freshly caught fish, without a commercial deep fryer. If you've been looking for a new way to healthify this family-friendly classic, discover our must-try method for the best clean fish & chips you'll ever taste.
